Jabu Sithole has a BSc Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria. He has more than 18 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Power Generation industries including process design, plant commissioning, start-up, and technology management.
His international experience includes assignments and projects in United Kingdom, China, Qatar, South Africa, Mozambique, Nigeria and Uzbekistan.
He is currently Business Development Lead for Gas to Power Projects in South Africa. This entails responsibility for successful development & delivery of the opportunity from Pre-feasibility through to Financial Close.
He was previously based in Uzbekistan GTL where he was shareholder Business Development Manager (Sasol Representative Office, Tashkent) and later the Business Development Manager in the OLTIN YO’L GTL joint venture where he was responsible for the Business Strategy & Implementation, Business Planning & Co-ordination, Investment Analysis, Marketing, Market and Business Analysis & Intelligence, Product Development and Registration as well as Risk Management Process.
