2023 Highlights

  • At AOW50 - Ministers and energy leaders worldwide gathered to discuss strategies and agreements aimed at bolstering the African energy sector. The South African Deputy President, His Excellency Mr Paul Mashatile, delivered an exclusive address advocating for an autonomous and thriving African continent, emphasizing the role of natural resource development and regional collaboration in fostering industrial growth and employment opportunities.
  • Additionally, Ministerial Remarks were given by Hon. Marcel Abeke, Minister of Oil at the Ministry of Oil & Gas in Gabon.
  • The event featured Country Spotlights from various African nations, including Sierra, South Africa, Senegal, Gambia, Angola, Cote d’lvoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Morocco, Republic of Congo, Tanzania, and Uganda.
  • The program also showcased valuable content from diverse forums such as the African Independents Forum, Finance & M&A forum, Prospect Forum, and the Technology Forum.
  • Furthermore, networking receptions were organized each evening at picturesque locations, culminating in the Farewell Braai at Cabo Beach Club.
