Director of Energy Western Cape Government

Ajay is an electrical engineer with  more than 10 year’s experience spread across energy efficiency and energy management projects, greenhouse gas mitigation, energy systems modelling and analysis consulting research and public sector project management.

He is a facilitator in industrial energy management systems implementation and has interests in industrial energy systems optimisation, advancement of energy data and intelligence, energy modelling and planning, carbon-energy market development, regulation and associated research.

He holds the position of Director for Energy within the Green Economy in Department of Economic Development & Tourism in Western Cape Provincial Government promoting investment and job opportunities in the energy sector currently through Solar PV uptake and LNG importation projects.
