Professor Aimé Ngoi-Mukena Lusa-Diese serves as D.R. Congo Minister of Hydrocarbons since September 2015. He holds a Doctorate degree in Political Philosophy and Political Economy from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. Prior to his appointment as minister of hydrocarbons, Aimé Mukena occupied several positions, including those of Minister of National Defense, Veterans and Reintegration; elected Member of the D.R Congo Parliament; Board member of the DR. Congo’s National railways company (SNCC); Chairman of the Board of Directors of the DR. Congo’s National Airways Management Authority (RVA); Member of the Constituent National Assembly and Transitional Parliament in the DR Congo’s first legislature. Dr. Ngoi-Mukena also teaches Political Philosophy and Political Economy at the University of Lubumbashi in DR Congo, and has authored and published numerous academic and scientific books, and political essays.
