By combining the mathematical models, software algorithms, and data models one can build a digital twin that represents as accurate as technically possible. One of the key challenge for constructing a well is the uncertainty in subsurface environment. The composition and properties of surface geology and the reservoir are typically interpreted, and risk of error is always there that could lead to well failure or could make the well uneconomical. By integrating the modelling software, historic data from offset wells and live access to real-time data, we not only can construct the well digital twin but also can adopt the changes observed during the execution phase.
