Mike is a Petroleum Geoscientist with expertise in seismic interpretation and geological analysis in oil & gas upstream development. He joined Geoex MCG in 2020 as a Geoscience Advisor with a primary focus on African and North Sea projects. Mike is currently delivering geoscientific insights for new ventures and providing client support. He is also undertaking a Machine Learning exploration project in Equatorial Guinea and an analysis of AVO responses for potential source rocks in frontier regions. Mike first carried out regional interpretation for Geoex MCG’s offshore well-tie 2D seismic in Morocco in 2017, leading to intriguing new insights into deep basin petroleum systems and the development of new plays. During this time, he also completed 2D and 3D seismic interpretations in Angola, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Brazil, and the North Sea. Mike graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London, with an MSc Honours degree in Petroleum Science. He began his career at Subsurface Resource Consulting (SRC).
