Dr Ross Compton is the EAME Consultant with IAGC, with a background in Ecology and Marine Science from the Universities of Edinburgh and Plymouth in the UK. Ross entered the geophysical industry in 2005 working with WGP Seismic on the development of passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) technology and services. He then moved on to working in support of marine seismic operations managing marine mammal mitigation and technical QC/QA services with RPS Energy in the UK. Ross has also managed geophysical and geotechnical surveys for offshore wind developments in the USA and UK while working with Horizon Geosciences, prior to joining IAGC. Ross is a keen cyclist and enjoys tackling the hills of his home county of Devon in his free time.
