In 2014, Oando acquired ConocoPhillips’ Nigerian business through its upstream subsidiary, Oando Energy Resources (OER), making it the country’s leading indigenous oil and gas producer. OER has a portfolio of oil and gas assets in Nigeria and Sao Tome & Principe. It holds interests in 14 licenses for exploration, development, and production of oil and gas concessions with net 2P reserves of 485 MMboe.

Oando Trading DMCC (OTD) is an experienced and established trader of crude oil and refined petroleum products with National Oil Companies, Oil Majors, and other large trading firms. It is the exclusive supply and trading arm of Oando PLC and is a fully owned subsidiary. OTD’s operations provides access to trading links in the Arab Gulf, North Sea, West and Southern Africa. The company forecasts rapid growth in the short to medium term, achieving exports of 25 million bbls of crude oil, and traded over 7 million tonnes of refined petroleum products in the past year.
