The Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Energy of Côte d’Ivoire, through its Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH), monitors and implements the Oil&Gas policy impulsed by the ivorian Government. It sets areas opened to exploration and production, receives expressions of interest from IOCs, negotiates PSCs and grants related authorizations. The Cabinet of the Ministry and the DGH office are located at 63 Avenue Marchand, Plateau, Abidjan.
With a solid knowledge of the ivorian sedimentary basin, the National Oil Company PETROCI is the technical arm of the Ministry and a key partner in all PSCs. PETROCI contributes to the national economic development through its presence in the oil and gas value chain.
As per its CSR commitments, PETROCI enhances the Communities’ wellbeing and works to mitigate petroleum activities effects on environment.
