Mr. Tiya is aregistered Professional Engineer and certified Project Management Professional. He holds an undergraduate degree in civil engineering and post-graduate degrees in business administration and financial management respectively.
Mr. Tiyabegan his engineering career in 1992 before joining the CDC from 1999-2010. He then joined Standard Bank’s Corporate and Investment Banking Division, heading the Oil and Gas and Public Sectors in the Client Coverage Division. His expertise lies in economic policy formulation, project development and financing, with a focus on energy, infrastructure, and industrialisation.
