Sales & Business Development Manager Airbus

Oliver joined Airbus DS Airborne Solutions (a 100% Airbus subsidiary) in April 2017 in the role as Sales and Business Development Director and is responsible for developing and executing Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and its services for the commercial and institutional market segments worldwide, but with a special focus on Africa. 

 Before joining Airbus, Oliver worked for KCA Deutag Drilling, an oil & gas service provider, where he ran the sales and business development activities in Nigeria, Libya and Kazakhstan for 13 years. Prior to this, Oliver served as an officer in the German Armed Forces and partly the United Nations for another 13 years. 

 Oliver holds an MBA degree acquired from the University of the Armed Forces in Munich. 

 He is passionate about aviation and technology and always looking for opportunities to promote unmanned capabilities and make them accessible for essential customer benefits i.e. safety, security, risk management and cost reductions.
