Ross co-founded Welligence Energy Analytics in 2016 and is the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Welligence, he worked in the energy private equity group at Warburg Pincus, in research at Wood Mackenzie, and in the finance group at Nexen Petroleum. At Wood Mackenzie, Ross led the company’s research expansion into Brazil, and worked with and advised governments, E&Ps, investment banks, and buy-side clients. He is a regular speaker and participant at major industry forums, including giving the opening 2022 keynote address at the World Energy Capital Assembly (WECA) in London, a keynote address at Africa Oil Week in Cape Town, and sitting on leadership roundtables at Adipec in Abu Dhabi. Ross holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
