Kjell Garvik is VP Pursuit Africa and Eni Account Manager for Aker Solutions.

He has over 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. Started the career as a Offshore Field Engineering within directional drilling and production well test logging before moved on to being a Service Engineering on chemical injection mainly in the North Sea.- After an active offshore period I joined Alcatel Cable ( now Nexans) and was Tender Manger for EPCI projects as well as standalone cable and umbilical project.

Moved to Coflexip (now Technip) where did Tender, Project and Sales/BD dominantly in the North Sea.

Joined Aker Solutions back in 1997, and been with them since focusing on subsea development and promoting subsea technology within Norway, UK, Gulf of Mexico, Brazil and Far East, Africa. The last 12 years, my focus has been to seek new opportunities in Africa and East Med region for Aker Solutions.

He holds a Bachelor degree of Petroleum Engineering from Stavanger University.
