Mansur Mohammed

Senior Research Manager, Wood Mackenzie

Mansur is the Head of West Africa Upstream Content, Sub Saharan Africa Oil & Gas for Wood Mackenzie. He is responsible for spearheading the upstream research content delivery and industry stakeholder engagement for the region.

In his role, Mansur has participated in several advisory projects covering opportunity screening and marketing sizing, market and competitor analysis, transaction support, valuations among others. He has successfully delivered projects for IOCs, NOCs , regional operators, financial institutions and service sector customers.

He joined Wood Mackenzie in 2008 as a research analyst in the Sub Sahara Africa upstream team, where he built his expertise as the lead analyst for a number of countries across the region.
Over the years, Mansur lead the strategic management of the upstream research teams covering Western Africa as well as the Southern and East Africa region. Mansur graduated with a Master’s degree in Oil & Gas Economics from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum, Mineral Law & Policy (CEPMLP), at the University of Dundee.
