Tamoor Ali

BP Finance, Crude Oil Originator BP

Tamoor works as an Originator in bp’s Trading and Shipping business based in their London office. Tamoor’s remit includes working with the traders to source crude oil and products from National Oil Companies and independent producers. This includes physical marketing and supply agreements as well as structured finance deals covering Pre-Export, Reserves Based Lending and other Senior and Junior debt instruments in exchange for long term contracts. Tamoor main geographical focus is Africa, Mediterranean, Caspian and LATAM. Prior to this role, Tamoor worked in BP Group Treasury and has 10 years of business development experience in BP upstream across various regions including Iraq, India, Trinidad and Tobago, Algeria, Libya and Egypt. 

Tamoor has been part of the BP Pride network since its inception launching the Allies program, is currently part of reciprocal mentoring program for senior leaders and is also the chair of the board of directors for a Charity Diversity Role Models.
